  • Challenge: Needed to explain air duct cleaning and its benefits

Business Networking Group -
BNI Farmington Hills Chapter

  • Type of business: Local chapter - referral network
  • Challenge: This chapter had only the standard boilerplate website provided by BNI. The website did not allow for addition of content, control of formatting, or any advanced features. As an active networking chapter, there is a need to support a high level of interaction and participation.
  • Challenge 2: The site has an additional important audience of potential members. The site needs to be a "selling tool" to help recruit new members.

    • Concept, design, hosting, integration with existing BNI content - regional, international, educational, and other.
    • Responsive web design - automatically detects device type and adapts page layout for optimal fit to the device for comfortable viewing

Carbide Recycling Industries

  • Type of business: Buyer of scrap tungsten carbide for recycling
  • Challenge: Needed to attract businesses with scrap metal to sell -- factories, fabricators, tool and die shops
  • Services provided:
    • Designed and developed a WordPress website
    • Mobile-friendly responsive web design

Business Consultant -
Segal Consulting

  • Type of business: Family business consultant
  • Challenge: Client was referred to me to help with their website which was hacked. The security breach caused their email account to be blacklisted and they were unable to send and receive email until my involvement.
  • Services provided:
    • Provided troubleshooting to identify source of problem and appropriate solutions
    • Resolved the hack using the Sucuri service to clean remnants of the hack and to prevent reinfections. Website and email services were back up within 48 hours.
    • Deployed additional security and backup measures.
    • Designed and created an all-new website built with WordPress.
    • Copy writing and editing for organic search optimization
    • Ongoing Web Care Services, content updates, and content strategies

Uptown Catering

  • Type of business: Caterer specializing in Armenian cuisine
  • Challenge: Client needed a website to present his menu and services and to handle inquiries.
  • Services provided:

Professional Association -
Oakland County Treasurers' Association

  • Type of business: Professional organization
  • Challenge: The Oakland County Treasurers' Association had no website. The 100+ members of the group all work for different municipalities and financial institutions throughout the county and meet infrequently. The association has no physical headquarters or even central phone system. They wanted to find better ways to communicate between members and the general public.
  • Services provided:
    • Gather and collect content in person, by phone, and email.
    • Organize and publish content including news, announcements, helpful resources, and a members directory. A second stage of the project will include advanced communication capabilities that act as a members-only social network.
